You can ask us to delete your Biashara AI account and the data linked to it at any time.

How to delete your account

The quickest way is in WhatsApp:

1. From the number you use with Biashara AI, send FUTA AKAUNTI (or "delete my account").
2. Biashara AI will explain what will be deleted and ask you to confirm.
3. Reply FUTA SASA within 10 minutes. Your account and records are deleted straight away, and you get a confirmation message.

If you have trouble deleting your account in the bot, message our customer support team on WhatsApp at +254 182 850 883. If you can't use WhatsApp, you can also ask us by email at info@biasharaai.co.ke. Include the WhatsApp number you use with Biashara AI. We may ask you to confirm the request from that number, so we know it really comes from you.

What we delete

• Your account details, including your business name.
• Your conversation history with the assistant.
• Your business records: sales, expenses, budgets and balance sheet figures.

Chama accounts

Deleting a chama account deletes the whole chama book: the member list and every contribution, loan, repayment, fine and payout recorded. Only the official who set up the account can do this, from the chama's WhatsApp number.

Individual members' records are changed or removed only by the chama, through its officials. If you are a member, please ask your chama's officials. If you contact us directly, we will refer your request to your chama.

What we may keep

We may keep records of payments you made to us where the law requires us to keep them for tax or accounting purposes. We keep these only for as long as required.

Copies of your data in our encrypted backups are permanently erased within 30 days of deletion. Until then they are not used for anything except recovering from a system failure.

Messages you exchanged with us may also remain on your own phone in WhatsApp. You can delete those yourself in the WhatsApp app.

Confirmation

When you delete through WhatsApp, you get a confirmation straight away. For email requests, we will confirm by email once your data has been deleted.
